What you will do
- Execute targeted outbound and inbound campaigns to generate high-quality leads and early-stage opportunities.
- Research, map, and expand a robust pipeline of accounts and qualified contacts.
- Qualify opportunities by assessing customer needs, timelines, budgets, and decision processes.
- Proactively manage service contract renewals and drive instrument consumables utilization.
- Collaborate with Territory Account Managers and Regional Sales Directors to ensure seamless lead hand-off.
- Utilize CRM and marketing-automation tools to track activity and optimize outreach cadence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Genetics, or a related life-science field.
- 1+ years of experience in sales development or inside sales within life sciences or genomics.
- Solid grasp of genetics and molecular-biology applications.
- Must have current authorization to work in the United States without the need for present or future sponsorship.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree (M.S.) in Biology, Genetics, or a related discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in opportunity development within life sciences.
- Hands-on genomics or laboratory research experience.
- Familiarity with next-generation sequencing (NGS) and genotyping technologies.
