Sales Manager, New Business (SMB): Driving acquisition of new SMB clients by developing sales strategies, generating leads, engaging prospects, and closing deals with an accent on sales team leadership, forecasting/reporting, and market research to improve pipeline and revenue outcomes. Focus on aligning field feedback with marketing and product to continuously refine go-to-market execution.
Location: South Salt Lake, UT (hybrid: 3 in-office days and 1 work-from-home day; open to candidates within commuting distance of South Salt Lake City headquarters)

What you will do
- Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new business opportunities, including market analysis and target segmentation.
- Lead and coach sales representatives to improve new-customer acquisition, set targets, and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with marketing and product to align sales efforts with company objectives and provide field feedback.
- Forecast sales, track progress, and report on pipeline status and revenue projections for management.
- Conduct ongoing market research on industry trends and competitor activity to adapt outreach and identify new opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales with a track record of success acquiring new business.
- Strong leadership skills to motivate and mentor a sales team.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinking with ability to analyze data and market trends.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field (preferred).
