What you will do

• Maintain and revise released drawings based on engineering change requests.
• Design and maintain product definition by preparing layouts and modifying existing designs.
• Manage large CAD assemblies and associated drawings for Stage 1 Tank subsystems.
• Implement engineering and manufacturing standards to balance cost, schedule, and performance.
• Collaborate with design and analysis teams to mitigate emergent technical issues.
• Assist in the development and deployment of drafting standards and act as a checker for the team.

Requirements

• U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or refugee/asylee status required.
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience designing/drafting in aerospace, automotive, or equivalent industries.
• Hands-on experience with hardware on the production floor or in service.
• Proficiency in Creo (Pro/Engineer) and Windchill or equivalent PDM software.
• Strong expertise in GD&T analysis (ASME Y14.100, Y14.5, Y14.41) and tolerance stacks.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time to support manufacturing facilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with launch vehicle, spacecraft, or cryogenic structures.
• Background in designing for manufacturing and assembly.
• Experience leading peer reviews and mentoring team members.
