TL;DR

Director Business Development (Life Sciences): Driving new business and expanding strategic client partnerships within the eClinical division with an accent on territory strategy, pipeline management, and deal leadership. Focus on winning new accounts, increasing wallet share, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver revenue growth in the life sciences sector.

Location: Remote (US). Candidates located in Boston or a commutable distance to Boston, Massachusetts are preferred. Consideration given to candidates in Massachusetts or the East Coast Time Zone.

Salary: $150,000–$195,000 + commission

What you will do

  • Meet and exceed annual sales targets while owning revenue delivery for assigned accounts.
  • Build and execute strategic territory and account plans aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Manage a qualified sales pipeline, including forecasting and risk mitigation.
  • Lead strategic client engagement from initial approach through to deal close.
  • Collaborate with marketing and internal teams to introduce new eClinical offerings to the market.
  • Drive account expansion and establish preferred supplier status with key clients.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English.
  • Proven track record of success in sales within life sciences, CRO, or clinical technology.
  • Demonstrable success in building and executing territory and account strategies.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles, including proposal development and bid leadership.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms, ideally Salesforce, and Microsoft Office.
  • Must be based in the US, with a preference for candidates in the East Coast Time Zone or commutable to Boston.
