What you will do

• Review and interpret Commercial General Liability (CGL) and related policies to determine coverage.
• Investigate and manage claims involving premises liability, bodily injury, and property damage.
• Draft coverage position letters, including reservations of rights and denials.
• Negotiate settlements within authority while balancing legal exposure and client objectives.
• Coordinate with insureds, claimants, witnesses, and defense counsel to drive resolution.
• Ensure compliance with Department of Insurance requirements and internal standards.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience handling General Liability claims.
• Active adjuster licenses and willingness to obtain additional licenses as needed.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills with experience in coverage analysis.
• Ability to independently manage a full caseload from inception through resolution.
• Experience with bodily injury and property damage claims.
• Must be based in the United States.

• Experience handling non-trucking liability or commercial auto exposures.
• Background in habitational or pet care-related liability claims.
• Experience working within program business or TPA environments.
• Experience managing litigated claims and working with defense counsel.
