What you will do

• Verify coverage, investigate liability, and determine the scope of damages for assigned bodily injury claims.
• Evaluate accident facts, injuries, medical records, and bills to determine causation and claim value.
• Negotiate settlements in accordance with company best practices and state regulations.
• Manage an assigned inventory of claims independently while maintaining ownership throughout the lifecycle.
• Provide proactive, transparent communication to customers, claimants, and legal counsel.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure efficient resolution.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain all required state adjuster licenses.
• Experience handling bodily injury or related casualty claims.
• Strong understanding of insurance policies, claims handling practices, and applicable regulations.
• Ability to investigate coverage, liability, and damages independently.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
