What you will do

• Coordinate cyber event intake with breach counsel, forensic investigators, and other vendors.
• Participate in after-hours claim intake and incident response coordination as needed.
• Evaluate pending claims, recommend accurate reserves, and maintain complete claims documentation in the claims system.
• Analyze liability, damage data, and insurance coverage issues for complex cyber, tech, and media policies; draft coverage letters.
• Manage and track third-party vendors and service providers’ work and spend; identify settlement opportunities.
• Collaborate on defense and resolution of claims; provide data/analytics support to underwriters and support business development/marketing; liaise with partner carriers daily.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience adjusting cyber claims
• Licensed claims adjuster in your state of residence
• Able to obtain licensing for California and New York
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Juris Doctor or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
