TL;DR

Head of People (People Ops/HR Leadership): Lead and optimize the end-to-end People function across People Ops, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Performance & Development, Employee Relations, and Culture with an accent on scaling a globally distributed, remote-first organization and applying AI to People workflows and analytics. Focus on coaching managers, running compliant multi-country employment operations (including EOR/PEO), and building defensible compensation/equity/benefits across geographies.

What you will do

  • Serve as a senior leadership team member and set People strategy, priorities, and operating cadence.
  • Lead People Ops end-to-end: onboarding to offboarding, employee relations, performance & development, and culture.
  • Streamline People workflows and apply AI and modern People technology across recruiting, onboarding, and analytics.
  • Coach and develop a distributed People team and build manager training for remote/distributed leadership.
  • Own talent acquisition strategy and maintain a structured, consistent hiring bar.
  • Steward compensation, equity, leveling, and benefits so they remain coherent and defensible across countries.

Requirements

  • Location: Remote from the US East Coast
  • 10+ years in People/HR with prior senior ownership of a full People function.
  • Experience operating at global scale with multiple employment models (entities, EOR/PEO, contractors).
  • Hands-on command of multi-country People operations: employment compliance, payroll, and EOR/PEO or multi-entity models.
  • Proven success leading, coaching, and developing a distributed People team.
  • Ability to lead through influence and measure outcomes rather than activity.
