What you will do

• Lead technical aspects of business development for the global data center segment, engaging with hyperscalers, colocation providers, utilities, and developers.
• Understand customer business drivers, power constraints, and technical requirements to integrate BESS within data center infrastructure strategies.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Strategy, and Engineering teams to shape solution strategies and guide commercial development.
• Translate market and customer insights into go-to-market priorities and product feedback.
• Build credibility with executive, commercial, and technical stakeholders by linking solution design to business outcomes.

Requirements

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• 8+ years of experience in business development, strategic or technical sales in energy storage, power infrastructure, or data centers.
• Proven track record in advancing complex multimillion-dollar B2B opportunities with sophisticated customers.
• Technical fluency in BESS systems, data center electrical infrastructure, load profiles, interconnection, MV/LV systems, and resiliency.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, energy systems, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen and exceptional communication skills with executive presence.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of grid services, utility market dynamics, and speed to power for data center customers.
• Experience with data center power systems challenges, substations, backup power interfaces, and commissioning.
