What you will do

• Diagnose, build, rebuild, and repair mechanical and electrical components of heavy trucks and equipment.
• Inspect and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
• Perform welding and fabrication to repair and build trucks and secondary equipment.
• Maintain equipment records and perform emergency repairs, including service road calls.
• Order necessary supplies and parts for maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• Must be located onsite at Asheboro, NC.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in plant and/or heavy equipment maintenance.
• At least 1 year experience in a diesel mechanical role.
• Valid Driver’s License; CDL Class A preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred or 5 years verifiable maintenance experience.
• Ability to read precision instruments and use electronic diagnostic tools.
