Advanced Diesel Mechanic - 2nd Shift (Diesel)

Location: Tyngsboro, Massachusetts, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Pay: $31.25–$42.95 per hour; $5,500 sign-on bonus

What you will do

• Repair and maintain heavy-duty diesel and non-diesel trucks, refuse bodies, chassis, and related equipment.
• Diagnose and repair engines, diesel fuel systems, aftertreatment and REGEN systems.
• Service hydraulic, electrical, air and hydraulic braking, suspension, drivetrain, steering, HVAC, and transmission systems.
• Use scan tools and electronic diagnostic equipment to identify malfunctions and electrical concerns.
• Perform line maintenance, welding, and fabrication on-site and on the road.
• Complete company training and other assigned maintenance duties.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience working as a technician on heavy-duty trucks.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues and demonstrate strong technical expertise.
• Ability to independently inspect and repair several heavy-truck or automotive systems, including suspension and steering, engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, hydraulics, drivetrain, and diesel emissions.
• Preferred CDL Class B or higher; CDL certification is not required.

Nice to have

• ASE Heavy Truck Certifications T1–T8.
• LNG and/or CNG experience.
• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s License.
