Diesel Mechanic A

What you will do

• Repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel trucks, refuse bodies, chassis, and fleet equipment.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, suspension, drivetrain, steering, braking, hydraulic, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Diagnose diesel fuel, emissions, aftertreatment, and REGEN systems using electronic tools and scan tools.
• Perform line maintenance, welding, fabrication, inspections, and roadside repairs.
• Complete company training programs and support drivers operating collection routes.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience as a technician working on heavy-duty trucks.
• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues and perform complex repairs with limited supervision.
• Experience with several heavy-truck or automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, hydraulics, drivetrain, suspension, steering, and diesel emissions.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• ASE Heavy Truck Certifications T1–T8, LNG/CNG experience, and Class B or higher CDL are preferred but not required.

• Preferred CDL B.
• ASE Heavy Truck Certifications T1–T8.
• LNG and/or CNG maintenance experience.
