Experienced Diesel Technician - A Level (Diesel)

Location: Raleigh, NC, USA

Pay range: $27.15–$37.35 per hour, depending on the hiring locality.

What you will do

• Repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel trucks, refuse bodies, and fleet equipment.
• Diagnose and repair chassis, suspension, drivetrain, steering, braking, engine, HVAC, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Perform diesel fuel-system, emissions, aftertreatment, and REGEN diagnostics.
• Use scan tools and electronic equipment to identify malfunctions and complete repairs.
• Perform line maintenance, welding, and fabrication on-site and on the road.
• Complete company training and support drivers operating the fleet.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience working as a technician on heavy-duty trucks.
• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues and perform complex inspections and repairs with limited supervision.
• Experience with several heavy-truck or automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, hydraulics, drivetrains, suspension, steering, or diesel emissions.
• Valid driver's license required.
• ASE Heavy Truck Certifications T1–T8, LNG/CNG experience, and Class B or higher CDL are preferred but not required.
