Head of FP&A (Fintech)

TL;DR

Head of FP&A (Fintech): Leading the financial planning and analysis agenda and building driver-based models with an accent on capital allocation and unit economics. Focus on building 3-statement models, establishing finance cadence, and partnering with leadership to drive data-backed decisions.

Location: Paris or fully remote across Europe (must attend onsite in Paris every 6-8 weeks)

Salary: €80K – €90K + Equity

What you will do

• Own the budget and rolling reforecast using a driver-based 3-statement model.
• Establish the company's finance cadence, including monthly close-to-report and 13-week cash flow.
• Build unit-economics and cohort instrumentation, including CAC, LTV, payback, and contribution margin.
• Partner with the Head of Product, PMs, and GMs to provide financial discipline and data-driven insights.
• Define tooling, methodology, and the future hiring plan for the finance function as the company scales.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a hands-on modeler building 3-statement models and budgets independently.
• Experience as the lead or most senior FP&A person in an organization, owning the full agenda.
• Expertise in unit-economics (CAC/LTV/payback) for subscription or multi-product businesses.
• Experience reporting to or partnering directly with company leadership and cross-functional leads.
• Data-native proficiency; comfort pulling your own data via SQL or BigQuery is a strong plus.
• AI fluency: must already ship AI-assisted finance workflows.
• Location: Must be based in Europe.

Nice to have

• Exposure to regulated fintech or payment institutions (MIFID/MiCA reporting).
• Experience with modern finance/data stacks such as dbt, Looker, or Pigment.
• Experience building fundraising or due-diligence data rooms.
• Previous experience in early-stage finance hiring or function-building.
