TL;DR

Partner Development Manager (LegalTech): Driving the growth of the partner ecosystem by identifying, recruiting, and managing strategic relationships with technology vendors and consultants. Focus on expanding the marketplace, integration network, and referral channels to create new revenue opportunities and deliver customer value.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Chicago, IL or Milwaukee, WI (Hybrid)

What you will do

  • Identify and prospect technology vendors, consultants, and implementation partners.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospective partners through networking and market research.
  • Conduct discovery meetings to evaluate partnership fit and growth potential.
  • Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to develop co-selling and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Represent the company at conferences, industry events, and networking opportunities.
  • Track partnership activities and outcomes within CRM systems.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or channel sales.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and generate new business opportunities.
  • Experience managing pipelines and relationship-based sales processes.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage executive-level stakeholders.
  • Must be able to travel as needed for conferences and partner meetings.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms like Salesforce or HubSpot.

Nice to have

  • Experience within SaaS, technology services, or legal technology ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with technology integrations, APIs, and partner programs.
