What you will do

• Prioritize, schedule, and execute projects with Engineers, Design, and Product Managers to develop and ship new features.
• Partner with Product to define and execute long-term strategy and quarterly roadmap, including goal-setting and progress measurement.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to understand requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Mentor engineers to grow technical skills and foster technical excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Provide technical and non-technical guidance to direct reports and lead technical conversations across the organization.
• Attract, hire, develop, and retain a high-performing engineering team.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a software engineer building production web applications.
• Minimum 1 year of experience managing a team of engineers.
• Demonstrable experience prioritizing, crafting, and achieving plans.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• High empathy and strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Solid understanding of core web development technologies, including data structures, data stores, algorithms, distributed systems, and common patterns.
