What you will do

• Design, document, and drive the architectural vision for backend services to ensure scalability and security.
• Define and govern technical standards for cloud infrastructure and the AWS serverless ecosystem (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB/RDS).
• Develop and evolve platform infrastructure using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate the software development lifecycle.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Ensure platform adherence to security, compliance, and cost-management policies.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer Lead/Manager managing development teams.
• 5+ years of experience with AWS serverless architecture and Terraform.
• 5+ years of experience leading international teams and working with regulated data/privacy requirements.
• 2+ years of experience with data warehouse tools such as Databricks or Snowflake.
