Engineer Lead

Salary: $175,000 - $195,000

What you will do

• Shape the technical direction of programs and lead cross-functional delivery.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and career development for engineering team members.
• Partner with key stakeholders to advocate for technical solutions and communicate tradeoffs.
• Manage hiring, performance reviews, timecard approvals, and PTO for the team.
• Participate in bid-writing, strategic planning, and client-facing communications.
• Present the program's ongoing engineering work, future goals, and potential risks.

Requirements

• 9+ years of relevant engineering experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in mentoring and coaching.
• Must meet federal suitability requirements and pass a background investigation.
• Extensive experience with software development and customer interactions.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical decisions for non-technical federal stakeholders.
