• Drive the technical roadmap for Codespaces and sandbox technologies, ensuring strategic alignment with product goals.
• Lead and grow a strong team of engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and professional development.
• Facilitate cross-team communication to resolve dependencies and ensure seamless integration across services.
• Guide teams in designing scalable, secure, and observable systems that meet business requirements.
• Champion telemetry-driven development and rapid iteration to improve product quality.
• Own incident response and reliability practices to ensure services meet established SLOs.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• Minimum 3+ years of people management experience.
• Proven experience delivering production software in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python.
• Strong background in large-scale system architecture, distributed systems, and microservices.
• Experience operating large-scale cloud services and cloud-native concepts.
• Ability to partner effectively with product management, design, and cross-functional engineering teams.
