What you will do

• Design, build, and operate cloud-native applications with a focus on reliability and operational simplicity.
• Develop and maintain user-facing APIs and frontend interfaces using TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Implement event-driven architectures and manage message queues to ensure system scalability.
• Collaborate with product engineering teams to champion best practices and resilient solutions.
• Embed automated testing, observability, and operational ownership into the feature delivery lifecycle.
• Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to maintain platform stability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and operating production-grade systems with user-facing APIs.
• Strong proficiency in backend API design (TypeScript, GraphQL, REST) and frontend development (React, Next.js).
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and handling race conditions.
• Solid database fundamentals including schema design, migrations, and query optimization in PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and reside within the country.
• Strong communication skills and a production mindset with experience in on-call participation.
