TL;DR
Specialist / Sr. Specialist, PSRA, Americas (Product Regulatory Affairs): Managing product safety and regulatory compliance for chemical products in assigned regions with an accent on regulatory interpretation, hazard classification, and product documentation. Focus on developing compliance solutions, managing registrations and permits, creating safety data sheets and labels, and advising customers on product regulatory requirements.

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States; hybrid work from the main office

Salary: $100,000–$125,000 per year, plus performance-based bonuses

What you will do

  • Implement the Product Safety and Regulatory Affairs execution plan and contribute to regulatory strategy.
  • Interpret regional and global regulations and develop compliance solutions, processes, and tools.
  • Evaluate product hazards and classifications, including GHS requirements where applicable.
  • Create and maintain regulatory data, safety data sheets, labels, and related documentation.
  • Manage product registrations, notifications, and permit processes according to legal requirements.
  • Provide customer regulatory guidance, conduct stakeholder training, and participate in PSRA projects.

Requirements

  • University degree in Chemistry, Environment, Biology, or a relevant field; higher education is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Product Stewardship and Regulatory Affairs.
  • Advanced knowledge of regional and global regulations for chemical products and applications.
  • Professional experience in the chemical industry and project management skills.
  • Analytical ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable plans and conclusions.
  • Fluent English and the applicable local language required.
