What you will do
- Coordinate daily warehouse workflow, dock assignments, and truck arrivals.
- Monitor product movement and inventory staging to ensure organizational standards.
- Support team members by answering questions, solving operational problems, and providing training.
- Assist the supervisor in adjusting work procedures to meet shipping schedules and department priorities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with company policies.
- Report equipment malfunctions and operational issues to management.
Requirements
- Must be able to work on-site in Sparks, NV.
- Prior experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics environments.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment and use systems like RF scanners or ERP/WMS platforms.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical computations including rate, ratio, and percent.
Nice to have
- Previous lead, trainer, or informal leadership experience.
- Experience with shipping operations, including small parcel and LTL.
- Proficiency with SAP or similar enterprise warehouse systems.
