Business Analyst / Requirements Engineer (GovTech)

What you will do

• Lead requirements management for a federal enterprise cloud platform, translating mission needs into clear requirements.
• Elicit, analyze, and validate business and technical requirements from government stakeholders.
• Translate stakeholder needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed documentation.
• Model business processes and workflows to support platform and application teams.
• Manage scope and change, facilitating prioritization with product and program leadership.
• Participate in Scaled Agile (SAFe) ceremonies, including PI planning and backlog refinement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in business analysis or requirements engineering on technology programs.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Public Trust / suitability determination.
• Proven experience with requirements documentation, user stories, and traceability.
• Experience working in an Agile or SAFe environment.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and federal compliance environments.
• Business analysis certification (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA).
