Salary: $164,000–$195,000

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain reusable, accessible UI components, design tokens, and interaction patterns.
• Define and evolve the organization’s design language, including typography, color systems, and UI standards.
• Develop and document scalable design system architecture, governance models, and contribution frameworks.
• Partner with engineering and product design to optimize design-to-code pipelines and reduce delivery friction.
• Establish and embed accessibility standards (WCAG AA) into system components by default.
• Evaluate and integrate AI-powered tools and LLM-based workflows to improve design-to-code efficiency.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in design systems, UX engineering, or frontend engineering.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and component-driven development (e.g., Storybook).
• Hands-on experience with Figma, design tokens, and component libraries.
• Deep understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG AA).
• Experience experimenting with AI-assisted design and development tools.
