What you will do

• Build, maintain, and document shared components, tokens, and patterns within the design system.
• Translate Figma design specs into production-quality React code with precise attention to motion and interaction.
• Partner with product designers to review PRs and ensure technical feasibility of UI surfaces.
• Advance product accessibility through direct contributions and team guidance.
• Unblock product squads by providing flexible, well-documented components.
• Contribute to the evolution of engineering and design workflows.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building products with a blend of design and engineering.
• Proven experience building or maintaining a product design system at production scale.
• High-polish front-end skills including motion and modern React (hooks, composition).
• Fluent in Figma with the ability to create resources for designers.
• Deep knowledge of accessibility standards (keyboard navigation, focus management, ARIA).
• Must be based in the US.

Nice to have

• Experience with creative tooling or analogous complex product spaces.
• Knowledge of AI workflows for design systems and automation.
• Familiarity with headless CMS tools or Electron apps.
