What you will do

• Translate high-level product strategy into clean, component-based wireframes and technical UX pathways.
• Build functional, high-fidelity interactive code prototypes to validate design concepts with stakeholders.
• Write production-ready front-end code and establish standard styling patterns to optimize development cycles.
• Engineer efficient publishing workflows within the Nexus and Grove CMS ecosystems.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and engineering teams to co-develop functional requirements.
• Champion intuitive usability for both internal content creators and external public media audiences.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a hybrid UX Engineering, Design Technology, or Front-End Development role.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Expert-level skill in Figma for creating wireframes and interactive micro-interaction models.
• Thorough understanding of WCAG 2.1 AA standards and semantic front-end coding.
• Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Computer Science, Interaction Design, or equivalent professional experience.
• Must be located within the United States in a location supported by hirify.global.

Nice to have

• Experience with complex headless CMS architectures or multi-platform digital publishing.
• Understanding of enterprise-level design systems and token management.
• Experience working in public media or union-represented engineering environments.
