Network Engineering Specialist (IP Management Team)

Location: London, UK; on-site attendance required during working hours. Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Must have lived in the UK for at least 10 years to obtain DV security clearance.

What you will do

• Design, build, test, validate, maintain, and support network infrastructure components.
• Implement new and enhanced network technologies for enterprise and remote-site connectivity.
• Maintain standards for wireless, LAN, SD-WAN, and other global network infrastructure.
• Install, test, and configure physical and virtual network hardware and software, including firewalls, routers, switches, and monitoring systems.
• Deliver engineering work that maintains the currency and supportability of networking technology.

Requirements

• Experience with enterprise or operator-scale routing design using protocols such as OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, LDP, or RSVP.
• Experience with LAN switching in data-centre and enterprise environments, including technologies such as RSTP/MSTP, LAG, MC-LAG, SPB, and first-hop resilience protocols.
• Experience implementing network security using MACsec, IPsec, or 802.1X.
• Knowledge of secure network design, including firewall, IDS, and IPS management and configuration.
• DV-level security clearance is required.
• Must have lived in the UK for at least 10 years to obtain the required clearance.
