What you will do
- Define and deliver global network strategy across enterprise, cloud, data centre, and partner environments.
- Lead global network engineering and operations teams supporting mission-critical infrastructure.
- Build network modernization roadmaps covering automation, simplification, standardization, lifecycle management, and transformation.
- Own operational performance, availability, risk management, and service resilience during major incidents.
- Partner with engineering, cloud, security, architecture, and business leaders while managing budgets, suppliers, and strategic investments.
Requirements
- Significant leadership experience in global Network Engineering, Infrastructure, or Technology Operations within complex enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in WAN, LAN, data centre networking, routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, and cloud connectivity.
- Experience leading geographically distributed teams across multiple regions and time zones.
- Experience delivering technology transformation while maintaining operational stability in business-critical environments.
- Strong commercial, stakeholder management, budget ownership, supplier management, strategic planning, and executive communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in financial services, payments, banking, or another highly regulated industry.
- Experience with network integration, mergers and acquisitions, large-scale migrations, or major infrastructure transformation.
- Knowledge of SD-WAN, network automation, Infrastructure as Code, SRE, ITIL, DevOps, or modern infrastructure operating models.
