Lead Network Operations Engineer (ISP)

We are looking for a (Lead) NOC Engineer / Senior Network Operations Engineer with fluent Russian & English to join our Network Operations team.

What you will do

• Rapidly identify, diagnose, and resolve L2/L3 network incidents.
• Configure and maintain customer services including BGP, VLAN/QinQ, and L2VPN.
• Manage interactions with external providers and upstream carriers while tracking service status and link availability.
• Collaborate with monitoring and technical support teams, handle ticket escalations, and participate in on-call rotations.
• Maintain technical documentation and participate in network stability, scalability, and modernization initiatives.
• Communicate professionally with internal teams, management, customers, and providers in English and Russian.

Requirements

• Fluent Russian and Conversational English.
• 5+ years of hands-on network infrastructure operations experience.
• Strong background in routing and switching with Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or similar equipment.
• Practical understanding of DWDM architecture, operating principles, and automation.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, routing policies, BGP communities, and Segment Routing.
• Experience with DDoS mitigation, including Flowspec and traffic scrubbing.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar tools.
• Understanding of network security principles and data protection methods.

• Degree in IT, telecommunications, or a related field.
• Experience with large-scale network infrastructure projects and modernization.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
• Experience mentoring or leading network engineers and NOC specialists.
• Strong continuous learning mindset.
