TL;DR
Network and Security Sysops Engineer (HPE Aruba/Zscaler/Check Point): Operating and continually improving an enterprise network and security infrastructure with an accent on incident resolution, root cause analysis, patching, upgrades, and platform administration. Focus on troubleshooting complex network and security issues, implementing controlled changes, and maintaining resilient, secure, and highly available services.
Location: Bristol head office, BS2 0PS, United Kingdom; hybrid attendance two days per week

What you will do
- Own network and security incidents from investigation through resolution, including communication and documentation.
- Investigate recurring and complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and support Problem Management.
- Plan and implement network changes through formal Change Management processes.
- Deliver patching, firmware updates, software upgrades, and vulnerability remediation across network infrastructure.
- Support and administer HPE Aruba wireless infrastructure, Zscaler ZIA/ZPA, and Check Point Firewalls.
- Maintain technical documentation and collaborate with Service Desk, Cyber Security, Systems Operations, Cloud, and Application teams.
Requirements
- Professional experience as a Network Engineer, Network Security Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer.
- Hands-on experience with HPE Aruba Wi-Fi, Zscaler ZIA and ZPA, and Check Point Firewalls.
- Experience with Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes, including network patching, firmware updates, and upgrades.
- Strong networking fundamentals, security knowledge, troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Experience using network monitoring, logging, and diagnostic tools, with the ability to work under pressure during major incidents.
- Employment sponsorship is not available.
Nice to have
- Experience with Cisco Nexus switching.
- Experience with VMware NSX.
- Experience with F5 LTM.
- Relevant Aruba, Zscaler, or Check Point certifications.
