What you will do

• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot IP network equipment and services according to standards.
• Execute planned network changes, including hardware replacements and software upgrades.
• Contribute to the design and testing of technical solutions under senior guidance.
• Participate in incident management and perform root cause analysis.
• Maintain system documentation, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with vendors and colocation providers on routine operational tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, IT, Electronics, or a related field.
• Cisco or Alcatel SR certification at Associate/Professional level or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a Telecom or ISP environment.
• Working knowledge of Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, or Nokia SROS.
• Proficiency in IPv4/IPv6 routing protocols, BGP, IS-IS, and MPLS.
• Basic scripting skills, preferably Python, for task automation.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Segment Routing and Traffic Engineering.
• Awareness of Infrastructure-as-Code and network automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with programmable network interfaces like RESTful APIs, NETCONF, or YANG.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Splunk, or Netcool.
