What you will do

• Monitor network across IP and transmission platforms, including xWDM and fiber infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network faults and outages by acting on service-impacting alarms.
• Own incidents from detection to resolution, minimizing escalation to second-level support.
• Collaborate with hardware vendors, field support, and network providers during troubleshooting.
• Document incidents, prepare root cause analysis (RCA), and outage reports.
• Act as a single point of contact (SPOC) during planned maintenance and outages.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or similar environment.
• Strong expertise in TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, QoS, and xWDM technologies.
• CCNP Enterprise level knowledge or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools, incident handling, and fault management.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows environments.
• Must be based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Nice to have

• Scripting skills in Python or Bash.
• Telecom industry background (TELCO).
• Experience configuring or improving NOC monitoring tools.
• Experience working in an international environment.
