TL;DR
Software-Defined Network Engineer (NSX-T): Management and configuration of SDN networks using VMware NSX and Cisco ACI with an accent on network security and process automation. Focus on creating automation scripts, resolving complex data center operational problems, and integrating SDN with firewalls, load balancers, and CMDB.
Location: Hybrid (2 days/week in office) in Prague, Brno, or Pardubice (Czech Republic)

What you will do
- Manage and configure software-defined networks (SDN) using VMware NSX and Cisco ACI in company data centers.
- Configure NSX-T firewalls to ensure network security and operational efficiency.
- Automate bulk SDN network configurations using native API interfaces.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts integrated with firewalls, load balancers, Cisco ISE, IPAM, CMDB, and ServiceNow.
- Analyze and resolve complex operational problems within the data center and network infrastructure.
- Mentor less experienced colleagues and contribute to the creation of security-focused network standards.
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP protocol and layer architecture.
- Experience with SDN networks in data centers and VMware technologies, including containerization.
- Proficiency in programming/scripting for infrastructure automation.
- Czech language proficiency (required).
- English level B2.
- Must possess a valid driver's license (category B).
- Must be based in or able to work from the office in Prague, Brno, or Pardubice.
