What you will do

• Design, test, and deploy technical IP solutions driven by business and operational needs.
• Lead network design initiatives including topology planning, capacity forecasting, and redundancy strategies.
• Configure and troubleshoot various network architectures, serving as an escalation point for complex incidents.
• Manage the full software and hardware lifecycle of network infrastructure.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through technical guidance and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with vendors, carriers, and peering partners on strategic technical matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, IT, Electronics, or a related field.
• Cisco or Alcatel SR certification at Professional/Expert level (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Telecom/ISP environment or with a network vendor.
• Expertise in Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, IOS-XR, and/or Nokia SROS.
• Proficiency in IPv4/IPv6 routing (BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, Segment Routing) and Traffic Engineering (RSVP, SR-TE).
• Strong Python scripting skills for network automation.

Nice to have

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and programmable interfaces (RESTful APIs, NETCONF/YANG).
• Knowledge of public cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Experience with operational tools like Nagios, Splunk, or Netcool.
