What you will do

• Design and implement fintech and payment institution systems, including RTP, ledger systems, and core payment flows.
• Write and review production code for critical services and lead technical decisions regarding resilience and scalability.
• Build safe payment flows with strong idempotency, failure handling, and consistency across orchestration and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Risk, Compliance, and Operations teams.
• Manage technical discussions, prepare audit materials, and respond to mandates from regulators and central banks.

Requirements

• Must be based in Brazil.
• Professional proficiency in Portuguese and English.
• Proven experience implementing PIX from scratch to production in a bank, fintech, or payment processor.
• 8+ years of experience in the full software development lifecycle with technical leadership or mentorship experience.
• Strong coding skills in Java (Spring Boot) and experience with distributed systems and APIs.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
