What you will do

• Lead the integration and validation of firmware for IPs and custom modules into SOCs using emulation, simulation, and System C modeling.
• Develop and execute validation test plans for SOC features, including power, telemetry, interrupts, memory management, and RAS.
• Design and implement robust embedded software and firmware solutions, including algorithms, ensuring high-quality product functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate firmware with hardware and system-level components.
• Debug and validate designs to ensure overall system-level reliability and efficiency.
• Mentor junior team members in integration validation and test content development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years, Master's with 4+ years, or PhD with 2+ years in Computer Engineering, CS, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.
• 3+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, System C, or Python.
• Demonstrated expertise in firmware debugging and development for embedded systems.
• Strong knowledge of computer architecture, storage interface standards, and system integration.
• Familiarity with design modeling and benchmarking tools.

Nice to have

• Validation experience in Core, Memory Power Management, Manageability, telemetry, IO subsystems, or BIOS/microcode development.
• Experience working with SoC/IP teams from early concept to final product shipping.
• Proficiency with hardware and software debug tools such as JTAG and gdb.
• Knowledge of processors, servers, and system software architecture.
