What you will do

• Lead a team of technicians overseeing operations, equipment maintenance, and repair in manufacturing facilities.
• Own safety, quality, scheduling, and conflict resolution, acting as the first responder for on-shift issues.
• Establish tactical plans to ensure production schedules are met within quality and cost objectives.
• Oversee work flow and streamline processes between groups and divisions to optimize factory health.
• Manage employee staffing, including workstation assignments, shift rotations, and PTO requests.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to solve problems impacting factory operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• 2–6 years of relevant professional experience.
• Willingness and ability to work onsite in Penang, Malaysia.
• Ability to work a weekly day/night rotation on a "4 days on, 3 days off" schedule.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage stress.
