What you will do

• Create highly accurate bottom-up parametric and deterministic cost models for commercial aircraft machined parts.
• Analyze manufacturing and supply chain processes to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
• Visit supplier facilities to evaluate assembly line efficiencies, cycle times, and material waste.
• Assist in supplier selection and perform technical variance reviews between vendor bids and internal should-cost expectations.
• Lead cross-site efforts for supplier development, improvement plans, and risk management.
• Provide continuous improvement support for production delivery, quality, and productivity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations, or Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Quality.
• Proven experience in managing complex vendor relationships and cost management.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of material specifications and secondary operations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of GD&T, complex metallic processing, chemical processing, and advanced composite layups.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and advanced MS Office skills for complex data analysis.

Nice to have

• Black Belt and/or Six Sigma certification.
• Lean Certification.
• J-Std-001 or IPC-610 certifications.
• CNC programming experience and Special Processing knowledge.
• Experience in Supply Chain Management.
