What you will do

• Lead equipment performance improvement initiatives to enhance availability, reliability, and OEE.
• Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions to minimize downtime and production disruptions.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies for long-term sustainability.
• Manage equipment qualifications, upgrades, technology transfers, and new installations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, improve yield, and reduce costs.
• Mentor engineers and technicians while providing technical leadership on engineering standards.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in equipment engineering within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis methodologies such as 8D, Fishbone, FMEA, or DMAIC.
• Knowledge of automation systems, PLCs, sensors, motion control, or industrial equipment controls.
• Experience supporting equipment qualification, installation, and technology transfer activities.
• Ability to analyze equipment performance data to implement sustainable solutions.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Johor, Malaysia
