What you will do

  • Define and execute a 3-year Factory Automation roadmap and lead lights-out manufacturing initiatives.
  • Own the end-to-end automation ecosystem including AMR/AGV, WCS, and MES integration.
  • Ensure system availability, redundancy, and cybersecurity compliance while meeting uptime targets.
  • Manage automation CAPEX planning, cost justification, and track ROI and productivity gains.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Automation Engineers to build internal technical capability.
  • Partner with analytics teams to implement real-time dashboards and predictive automation tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Automation, Electrical, Mechatronics, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5–8 years of experience in industrial automation, robotics, or manufacturing systems with leadership exposure.
  • Proven track record of managing system integration projects within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of AMR/AGV systems, PLC integration, and MES/WCS systems.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and financial planning skills.
  • Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Seremban, Malaysia.
