Legal Counsel (Product & Commercial)

Location: Milan, Italy; London, UK; Madrid, Spain; or Warsaw, Poland. Most days must be spent in the Milan office during the first few months; afterward, work is available from one of the offices or remotely from approved countries.

Typical annual salary: £85,797–£151,436 in London or €66,065–€107,837 elsewhere in Europe. Exceptional offers may reach £398,287 in London or €303,108 elsewhere in Europe.

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate cross-border commercial agreements, including confidentiality, consulting, licensing, SaaS, and other technology contracts.
• Support global product launches by preparing external communications, legal terms, and policies.
• Advise product, marketing, commercial, and other business functions on technology, regulatory, intellectual property, consumer protection, and AI governance matters.
• Manage disputes and litigation in Italy and abroad, coordinating with external advisers.
• Support global labour matters and monitor legal and regulatory developments.
• Build scalable legal forms, playbooks, and AI-powered workflows.

Requirements

• Law degree and experience at a law firm or as in-house counsel.
• Proficient English in reading, writing, and speaking.
• Strong reasoning, structured problem-solving, attention to detail, initiative, and accountability.
• Collaborative approach and willingness to support cross-functional teams.
• Availability for the initial Milan office period and eligibility to work from an approved country after that period.
