Location: Helsinki with hybrid attendance three days per week; remote within Europe or the UK may be considered. Regular travel to data centre sites may be required.

hirify.global is building a full-stack AI cloud spanning data centres, hardware, and a cloud platform for AI teams, with operations across multiple countries.

What you will do

• Act as the primary legal advisor on employment and labour matters across Finland, the US, the UK, Germany, and other operating countries.
• Advise on occupational health and safety obligations for data centre construction, commissioning, site operations, and incident response.
• Draft, review, and negotiate employment, contractor, staffing, secondment, and site-related workforce agreements.
• Advise on workforce structuring, contractors, subcontractors, posted workers, cross-border mobility, and new-site expansion.
• Support employee relations, restructurings, works councils, trade unions, collective bargaining, investigations, disputes, and regulatory inquiries.
• Develop policies and training, monitor regulatory developments, and coordinate external employment and health and safety counsel.

Requirements

• LLM or equivalent degree from an accredited law programme.
• 5+ years of employment and labour law experience in a law firm or in-house environment.
• Experience advising employers in industrial, construction, energy, infrastructure, or comparable environments.
• Demonstrable occupational health and safety law experience, including construction sites, industrial facilities, incident handling, and safety authorities.
• Experience advising across multiple jurisdictions, including complex German employment regimes such as works councils and co-determination.
• Strong written and verbal English is required, together with pragmatic communication, sound judgement, and the ability to work cross-functionally.

Nice to have

• Experience in data centres, construction, energy, heavy industry, or advising clients in these sectors.
• Working knowledge of German, Finnish, or another language relevant to operating countries.
• Familiarity with EU and UK health and safety frameworks, including the EU Framework Directive and CDM Regulations.
• Experience with posted workers, cross-border secondments, immigration, work permits, collective bargaining, or works council agreements.
• Experience supporting international expansion and managing external counsel across jurisdictions.
