Legal Counsel - Spain (iGaming)

Location: Spain - Barcelona; flexible and hybrid working arrangements.

What you will do

• Provide day-to-day legal advice on commercial, corporate, and operational matters affecting Spanish and international operations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate supplier, technology, marketing, partnership, and service agreements.
• Advise stakeholders on legal risk and deliver commercially practical solutions.
• Support corporate governance, restructurings, business initiatives, acquisitions, and integrations.
• Work with Compliance on Spanish regulatory matters, legislative developments, submissions, and official communications.
• Partner with Commercial, Product, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and People teams across multiple jurisdictions.

Requirements

• Law Degree and admission to a Spanish Bar Association.
• Experience in commercial, corporate, or in-house legal practice, preferably in iGaming or another highly regulated industry.
• Strong experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Excellent knowledge of Spanish commercial and corporate law.
• Experience engaging with regulatory authorities or supervisory bodies.
• Excellent written and spoken Spanish and English required.

Nice to have

• Experience with the Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego (DGOJ) or the Spanish online gambling regulatory framework.
• Exposure to corporate transactions, M&A, or corporate restructuring projects.
