Legal Counsel - Cigna Healthcare (Insurance)

What you will do

• Provide practical legal and regulatory support to hirify.global's European businesses and cross-functional teams.
• Advise on insurance regulation and support engagement with regulatory authorities.
• Support strategic projects, transactions, business-change initiatives, product development, and market-entry activities.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements across the European business.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and advise on their business impact.
• Coordinate with Compliance, Risk, Privacy, internal legal teams, and external legal advisers across jurisdictions.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer in Scotland, England and Wales, or another European jurisdiction, with typically 2–5 years of post-qualification experience.
• Strong legal training gained in private practice, in-house, or a combination of both.
• Experience in insurance, financial services regulation, corporate, commercial, banking and finance, or another relevant practice area.
• Strong drafting, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to provide practical, commercially focused advice to non-legal stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
• Fluent written and spoken English required.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services regulation or the insurance sector.
• Knowledge of UK and European financial services and insurance regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with strategic projects, transactions, business-change initiatives, or cross-border matters.
• French language skills.
