What you will do

• Create detailed electrical schematics using EPLAN Electric P8.
• Design control cabinet layouts, terminal diagrams, cable lists, and BOMs.
• Develop electrical systems for cranes, hoisting equipment, and heavy lifting solutions.
• Support the selection of electrical components, including sensors, drives, and control systems.
• Prepare technical documentation for production, commissioning, and service.
• Collaborate with international engineering teams in the Netherlands.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as an Electrical Design Engineer or EPLAN Engineer.
• Technical background in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or Mechatronics.
• Strong proficiency in EPLAN for electrical design.
• Knowledge of industrial components such as drives, sensors, and PLC I/O.
• English: Good communication skills required.
• Location: Must be able to work from the Porto region office.

Nice to have

• Experience with offshore, marine, or heavy machinery.
• Knowledge of standards such as IEC 60204-1, IEC 60204-32, EN ISO 13849, or IEC 62061.
• Experience with Siemens, ABB, Schneider, Rockwell, or Pilz systems.
• Interest in AI and digital engineering workflows.
