What you will do

• Manage the day-to-day execution of the software engineering team and ensure project delivery.
• Contribute hands-on as a senior-level engineer, primarily using Ruby on Rails and Vue.js.
• Improve team processes, collaboration, and code quality to enhance maintainability and scalability.
• Mentor and coach technical staff, managing performance and professional development.
• Leverage AI tools and ML capabilities for code generation, testing, and product functionality.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Cloud and Data/AI platform teams to expand intelligent capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 6+ years of relevant experience with at least 1 year of management experience.
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, system design, and architecture.
• Experience working in fast-paced, large-scale development environments.
• Must be based in Lehi, Utah for on-site work.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with client-side JavaScript frameworks (Vue, Angular, React, or Knockout).
• Exposure to AWS tools and development.
• Experience with Agile software development.
