Location: Remote (United States or Canada: BC & ON only)
Salary: $198,300 – $270,000 (USD) / CAD $245,000 – $294,000

What you will do
- Lead and manage a remote-first agile team focused on iterative shipping and end-to-end developer experience.
- Drive technical direction through hands-on contributions and architectural due diligence on tooling and proposals.
- Redesign team workflows by placing AI at the center of execution to ensure primitives are agent-ready.
- Use quantitative and qualitative metrics (DORA/SPACE) to identify and eliminate engineering bottlenecks.
- Mentor engineers and facilitate professional growth and development within the team.
- Collaborate with Product and Design stakeholders to set goals and define strategic objectives.
Requirements
- BS/BA degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 2+ years in a leadership role and 5+ years as a technical individual contributor.
- Extensive experience with system design and software development best practices.
- Experience building full-stack web applications and managing monorepos.
- Hands-on familiarity with Agentic AI systems and LLM-based agents.
- Must have valid right to work in the US or Canada (BC & ON only).
Nice to have
- Track record of building or operating design systems, component libraries, or UI platforms used by multiple teams.
