What you will do
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing platform engineering team of 6–8 engineers.
- Define and execute the platform roadmap across infrastructure, developer experience, and data platforms.
- Build agent platform capabilities to enable the creation, deployment, and monitoring of AI agents in the product.
- Drive the adoption of agentic development practices, establishing standards and guardrails across engineering.
- Own cloud infrastructure on AWS, including Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Manage data platform foundations, covering ingestion, orchestration, quality, and governance.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience directly managing engineers as a formal people manager.
- Proven experience building platform capabilities for deploying AI agents (orchestration, context management, evaluations).
- Strong technical depth in AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and modern software delivery.
- Strong execution skills in planning, prioritization, and stakeholder management.
- Experience hiring and coaching senior engineers and technical leads.
- Must be based in San Francisco, California.
