Senior Engineer (Process)

What you will do

• Monitor daily sputter machine performance, including yield and defectivity.
• Analyze defects and work with Failure Analysis teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Evaluate target materials and their impact on defects, machine performance, and magnetic properties.
• Collaborate with target suppliers on issue resolution and improvement initiatives.
• Partner with equipment and maintenance teams to improve quality, cost, and productivity.
• Support new product introduction and process transfer optimization with a focus on defect reduction.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, or related Engineering, or Physics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends and drive process improvements.
• Experience with data analysis, statistical analysis, and interpretation of large datasets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, charting, data visualization, and analysis.
• Knowledge or exposure to manufacturing, process engineering, or materials processing is advantageous.
