What you will do

• Monitor daily sputter machine performance, focusing on yield and defectivity metrics.
• Perform defect analysis and collaborate with Failure Analysis teams to identify root causes.
• Evaluate target materials and assess their impact on machine performance and magnetic properties.
• Work with equipment and maintenance teams to drive quality, cost, and productivity improvements.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and process transfer optimization.
• Coordinate with target suppliers on issue resolution and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, Physics, or related).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends.
• Experience in data analysis, statistical analysis, and interpreting large datasets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data visualization.
• Must be based in or able to work in Woodlands, Singapore.

Nice to have

• Knowledge or exposure to Manufacturing, Process engineering, or Materials processing.
