Senior Engineering Specialist (Cleanroom Manufacturing): Supporting contamination control and process improvement in cleanroom manufacturing environments with an accent on contamination audits, defect investigation, yield improvement, and substrate process support. Focus on root cause analysis, statistical process control, troubleshooting quality and stability issues, and reducing contamination-related defects.

What you will do

  • Support contamination control activities in cleanroom manufacturing environments.
  • Conduct cleanroom audits and monitor particle, TOC, and CTQ contamination metrics.
  • Investigate contamination-related defects and yield issues through data collection and root cause analysis.
  • Drive contamination reduction, yield improvement, and process optimization projects.
  • Provide technical support for kitting, packaging, reclaim operations, inspections, and other substrate processes.
  • Troubleshoot process issues and support compliance with SOPs, cleanroom standards, and safety requirements.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Higher NITEC in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 5–10 years of experience in semiconductor, HDD, electronics, or cleanroom manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience with contamination control, process troubleshooting, and manufacturing operations.
  • Experience with root cause analysis tools such as 5 Why, 8D, FMEA, or Fishbone.
  • Experience in yield improvement, defect reduction, process optimization, SPC, DOE, and statistical analysis.
  • Proficiency with Excel, JMP, Minitab, Power BI, Tableau, or similar data analysis tools.
